SederLaw is pleased to announce a most distinguished addition to our firm, Demetrios “D”. Moschos. Joining the firm in January 2021, Mr. Moschos immediately deepens and expands the breadth of the firm’s Labor and Employment and the Litigation and ADR Law Practice Groups.

His notable career and commitment to serving our legal and civic communities make him a significant addition to our firm. A fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, he serves as labor counsel for various private and public employers in Massachusetts, regularly advising employers on labor and employment law issues.
He routinely appears before government agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor Relations, and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. He has conducted more than 600 labor negotiations in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Moschos also represents clients in education matters throughout the Commonwealth.
He participated in drafting the Massachusetts Labor Statute, and he drafted the State Collective Bargaining Statute for Police and Fire. Mr. Moschos is a founder and former management chair of the State Joint Labor-Management Committee (Dunlop Committee). He is one of the founders of the Worcester County Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Committee and was awarded with the WCBA’s Distinguished Service Award® by the Bar Association.
He is the recipient of the 2013 Cushing-Gavin Labor-Management Counsel Award and was recognized by the International City Management Association (ICMA) with an Honorary Membership in ICMA, awarded to private sector individuals distinguished public service and contributions to the improvement and strengthening of local government.
Human Resource Executive Magazine and Lawdragon have recognized Mr. Moschos as one of the “Top 500 Corporate Employment Attorneys in the United States” and was elected to their Human Resources Hall of Fame.
Mr. Moschos also is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America© 2021 in the fields of Employment Law – Management, and Labor Law – Management. Since 1995, he has been recognized in Best Lawyers® and as Worcester “Lawyer of the Year” in 2013 and 2015. He has been named one of Massachusetts “Super Lawyers” by Boston Magazine and Law & Politics since 2006. Mr. Moschos is the recipient of the Massachusetts Municipal Personnel Association’s Emil S. Skop Award for outstanding contributions to human resources management, and the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce 2020 Chamber Advocate Award.
