Robert S. Adler and Howard E. Stempler represented a local commercial bank in connection with a lender liability suit brought by a business owner whose accountant had embezzled funds which passed through the bank’s accounts. The plaintiff asserted claims against the bank based upon lender liability legal theories. Settlement was reached on terms favorable to the bank following mediation. The case involved substantial accounting and tax records and documentation which SederLaw successfully utilized in defense of the claim.
SederLaw attorneys can represent banks and other lending institutions in a variety of commercial matters, including lender liability claims, and other commercial litigation matters.
