James Vevone recently prevailed on behalf of the firm’s client, a property-owning trust, in preventing dismissal of client’s claims against municipality under the Massachusetts Civil Rights Act in the Worcester Superior Court. The municipality moved to dismiss the plaintiff’s claims on the grounds that the municipality is not a “person” for purposes of the Act. The Court, ruling in favor of the firm’s client, issued a decision that the plaintiff properly stated a claim for relief under the Act. SederLaw handles all types of commercial litigation, including real estate and zoning disputes.
