Howard Stempler to be honored at Worcester JCC Annual Gala
SederLaw is pleased to announce that Partner, Howard Stempler, along with his wife, Carolyn Stempler, will be honored at the Jewish Community Center’s Annual Gala and Silent Auction for their service and commitment to the community.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the AC Hotel Worcester. The event proceeds will support the center’s Camp Scholarship Program providing tuition for hundreds of families who cannot afford, it but who benefit greatly from attending, enriching and high-quality Summer Camps (preschool camp, day camp, and sports camp). Mr. Stempler’s practice at SederLaw is concentrated in the areas of litigation, real estate, employment, and business & corporate matters. Mr. Stempler is the founder of the award-winning restaurant, BABA Sushi, and the founder of OVO, a snowsport helmet manufacturing and distribution company. He has been recognized for his efforts as a volunteer, leader, and mentor by several area organizations throughout the years, most recently serving as President of the Jewish Community Center. He was recently honored by the St. Thomas More Society, with the Bishop Bernard J. Flanagan Ecumenical Award for his community service contributions. Ms. Stempler currently serves as Chair of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation’s Board of Directors, which has awarded more than $123 million to cultural educational, human service, and civic organizations. Today, the foundation stewards a charitable endowment exceeding $153 million in over 600 named funds.
