How Are Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Selected?
Super Lawyers evaluates attorneys annually through peer nominations, independent research and peer evaluations. No more than five percent of attorneys in each state are selected to the Super Lawyers list.
Rising Stars recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state. Candidates must be 40 or younger or have been practicing law for 10 years or less. Attorneys cannot purchase inclusion on either list.
