Seder & Chandler Attorney Andrew C. Bartholomew Appointed to Worcester’s Parks and Recreation Commission

 Seder & Chandler is pleased to announce that Andrew C. Bartholomew, an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, has been appointed to the City of Worcester’s Parks and Recreation Commission. As the representative of District 1, Bartholomew will participate in meetings regarding the city’s public parks and will advise the City Manager on policy. Bartholomew began his three-year term this February.

Bartholomew’s legal practice encompasses a broad spectrum of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, business torts, real estate conflicts, and corporate ownership disagreements. He is a graduate of Boston College Law School. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the Federal District Court of Massachusetts, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Beyond his legal practice, he has been recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America® for his professional excellence and has actively contributed to the community through various pro bono activities and board memberships.

The City of Worcester’s Parks and Recreation Commission is responsible for supervising the maintenance of the nearly 1,300 acres of municipally owned park land, operation of the City-owned golf course, provision of athletic facilities, tennis courts and basketball courts.
