Elena is an associate at Seder and Chandler in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Her practice focuses on estate planning, including estate and trust administration and drafting planning documents such as wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts.
Elena’s experience also extends to commercial lending and real estate practice, in which she drafts documents for both lenders and borrowers in complex financing transactions as well as drafting and negotiating commercial and residential real estate sales, leases and acquisitions. She has represented and appeared on behalf of residential and commercial clients in municipal land use hearings with municipal Planning Boards, Zoning Boards of Appeals, Historical Commissions and other similar municipal boards, and obtained successful decisions including variances, special permits and zone changes.
Prior to joining Seder & Chandler as an associate, Elena was an intern at the firm while enrolled at Northeastern University School of Law, where she began to develop her practice by researching and drafting memoranda relating to transactional and civil litigation matters, and drafted documents including purchase and sale agreements, mortgages, loan agreements and corporate formation documents. Her background also includes working as a legal intern at the Middlesex Superior Court, Massachusetts Securities Division, and the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Commonwealth Medicine.
In addition to her legal practice, Elena is a member of the Worcester Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and served as Co-Chair from 2021-2022.
